 Tour Itinerary

Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Rose Valley – Dades Valley Pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8:00 AM and departure towards the High Atlas, the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. We will cross the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic views and photo opportunities of the small Berber villages blending into the landscape. Then, we continue south to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its famous Kasbah (a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986). This spectacular setting has been the backdrop for famous films such as Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penélope Cruz. Free time for lunch in the town. We then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert," which in Berber means "without noise or confusion." Here, we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, one of Morocco’s most spectacular ksars. The next stop is the Rose Valley, passing through the vast Skoura palm grove—a beautiful area with over 700,000 palm trees and numerous kasbahs scattered throughout. This valley is famous for cultivating Damask roses used in cosmetics, such as the precious rose water. The Festival of Roses is held here every May and is an important cultural event in Morocco. Finally, we arrive at the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Dunes – Camel Trek & Night in a Berber Tent After breakfast, we will enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Dades Valley from a strategic viewpoint in the mountains. From here, we can admire the numerous kasbahs and the unique landscapes of the area. A well-paved road takes us from Tinerhir through the gorge and into the desert. After several stops along the way, we reach the Todra Gorges, a stunning natural site. The local population still lives in traditional adobe villages. Due to the rock walls with many irregular surfaces, this area is popular among rock climbers. Following a short walk in the Todra Gorges, you will have free time for lunch in Tinejdad or Touroug before continuing our journey toward the desert to reach the spectacular dunes of Merzouga. We will take a one-hour camel trek to our nomadic camp, nestled in the heart of the dunes (Erg Chebbi). Before dinner, we will watch the sunset from the top of a dune and then sleep in a tent under a magnificent starry sky.

Merzouga Dunes – Draa Valley – Anti-Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Marrakech Early in the morning, we will have a "rendezvous with the sunrise." Waking up early in the desert is a must to witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises from the top of a dune near the camp. Afterward, we return to Merzouga by camel, where a delicious breakfast awaits us. Once we regain our energy, we begin our final day of travel, crossing the arid pre-desert area, where we will see acacia trees typical of these landscapes. On the way to the Draa Valley, we will stop at scenic viewpoints to enjoy the stunning views of the river that gives the valley its name. The Draa River is the longest in Morocco, flowing through the country before reaching Mauritania. Our journey continues towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains. We will have free time for lunch in the city before heading back to Marrakech, arriving at approximately 8:00 PM. Transfer to your hotel, marking the end of our services.
